Updates:
This year the ADSS choir will be traveling to Vancouver and Burnaby!
This will be a day trip, leaving from the school at 6:00am on Monday November 18th (ProD Day) and returning by 8:00pm that evening. We will be attending performances and workshops with the director of the BC Provincial Honor Choir, Carrie Taylor. This will be an excellent learning opportunity for our young singers and will also include some fun bonding experiences in Vancouver.
A final itinerary will follow when transportation is confirmed. The estimated cost of this trip will be $100 per student and include all transportation, workshop, and event costs. Students will need to bring around $40 of their own money for meals/snacks throughout the day.
A deposit of $50 and a signed tour contract will be required by October 16th and turned into Mr. Lancaster in the Music Office (142). As with all extracurricular music opportunities, consistent attendance and effort needs to be made in class for students to be eligible to travel with the ensemble.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Lancaster at any time in person or through Email at [email protected]
